Flexography or, more commonly called flexo, is a direct rotary printing method, which uses matrix plates in relief of rubber or photopolymer materials, called clichés.
Flexographic machines can be sheetfed (used for example for printing on corrugated cardboard) or rotary. Flexographic presses are produced in three different structures: in line, planetary (or central drum) and stack (with independent cylinders). The first two versions usually print on one side only, while the stack version allows you to print, with multiple combinations, on both sides of the support.
